Left podrulevy the switch serves for switching of modes of functioning of running lighting and alarm devices, and also for activation of indexes of turns.


Activation of running fires and inclusion of a passing beam of headlights

For activation of running fires turn the face handle of the lever of the podrulevy switch in the first fixed situation.

Thus there will be an inclusion of lobbies and back marker lights, lamps of illumination of registration plate and dashboard illumination. For transfer of headlights to a mode of a passing beam it is necessary to turn the face handle of the main switch in the second fixed situation — all other running fires will continue to function as before.

For the purpose of economy of an expense of the electric power switching off of ignition function of automatic shutdown of external lighting devices (including fog lights) on the expiration of 45 seconds after ignition switching off is provided. To similar result leads also opening of any of forward doors of the car. If the face handle of the podrulevy switch is left any of working provisions or , it is enough to make ignition inclusion for activation of lighting devices.

Repeated activation of external lighting devices by means of the podrulevy switch after their automatic shutdown leads to blocking of function of automatic shutdown — in order to avoid risk of a podsadka of the storage battery, do not forget to return the face handle of the switch in the situation OFF, leaving the car for long term. Also avoid long use of external lighting at the idle engine.


Running fires of day time of day (only Canadian models)

On equipped with system of running fires of day time of day (DRL) models of a headlight join in a luminescence mode with small intensity at the started engine and the removed parking brake. The face handle of the left podrulevy switch thus can be both in situation, and in the situation OFF. For transfer of headlights to a mode of a passing beam it is necessary to turn the handle in situation. For deactivation of DRL it is necessary to switch off ignition, having turned a key in the situation OFF.


Activation of a driving beam of headlights

There are two ways of activation of a driving beam of headlights: the first means inclusion of a driving beam in the constant mode, the second is used for the alarm system by a driving beam.

For activation of a driving beam in a constant mode it is necessary to wring out the lever of the left podrulevy switch from itself, having transferred it to the fixed situation. In this mode inclusion of a driving beam is obviously possible only at included running fires (see above).

For short-term activation of a driving beam for the purpose of the alarm system it is enough to delay the switch lever on itself — the otpuskaniye of the lever will lead to shutdown of a driving beam. Short-term inclusion of a driving beam is made irrespective of, in what situation there is a rotary face handle of the main switch see above).


Activation of fog lights

The rotary ring switch of management is located with functioning of fog lights on the handle of the lever of the left combined podrulevy switch and can be established in one or the other fixed provisions: OFF (Vykl) or.


Activation of fog lights is represented possible only at the included passing beam.


Inclusion of indexes of turns

Inclusion of indexes is made by means of the lever of the left combined podrulevy switch. The lever is transferred up or down, to dependences of the chosen direction of a change of course.

At transfer of the lever to extreme top / bottom situation (before click) the corresponding indexes of turns will continue to function until the steering wheel will not be returned in rectilinear situation, or the lever will not be returned in the central situation compulsorily.

Short-term inclusion of indexes, for example, for example, at intention to replace a movement ryadnost, is made by easy procrastination of the lever up or down, respectively.


Right combined podrulevy the switch

Right podrulevy the switch is intended for management of functioning of cleaners and washers of wind and back glasses.


Management of functioning of cleaners and windscreen washers

Inclusion of cleaners / washers of a windscreen can be made only at the included ignition (situation ON and ASS).

The choice of modes of functioning of screen wipers is made by moving of the lever of the switch down / up. Parameters of an interval mode of functioning of screen wipers (in a range of 4 — 12 seconds) can be chosen by means of the rotary face handle on the lever end (see in the same place).


Screen wipers should be included in frosty weather only after the windscreen will be heated-up!

For giving on glass of washing liquid it is necessary to pull the switch lever on itself — screen wipers also should join on some cycles.

It is not necessary to include washers more than for 30 seconds. It is not necessary to make attempts of inclusion of supply of liquid at the empty tank.


Management of functioning of a cleaner and washer of back glass

Activation of a cleaner / washer of back glass can be made only at the included ignition (situation ON and ASS).

For screen wiper inclusion in an interval mode of functioning turn the ring handle on the lever of the podrulevy switch on one division clockwise, having transferred it from neutral (OFF) of situation to situation. Handle turn on one division leads to inclusion of a low-high-speed mode of functioning of a screen wiper.


Activation of a back screen wiper can be made only at the locked back glass, and closing of glass should be made at the switched-off screen wiper. Opening of back glass at a working screen wiper also is not obviously possible.


The screen wiper should be included in frosty weather only after back glass will be heated-up!

For giving on glass of washing liquid it is necessary to turn the handle against the stop in any direction — the screen wiper also should join on some cycles.

It is not necessary to include supply of washing liquid more than for 30 seconds! It is not necessary to make attempts of inclusion of supply of liquid at the empty tank!


Regulator of intensity of illumination of the dashboard

The regulator of intensity of illumination is built in in the car dashboard more to the left of a steering column (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard). Demanded intensity of illumination of the panel is made by potentiometer rotation.


The regulator starts to function only at included running fires (see above).


Switch of the alarm light system

Turning on of the alarm system is made by an otzhimaniye of the push-button switch which has been built in in the central part of the dashboard of the car (to the right of a steering wheel, under the deflector of the central air line of ventilation / heating of salon — see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard) and usually equipped with a control lamp with the pictogram representing two entered one in another of triangles.

Turning on of the alarm system can be made in any position of the ignition key and leads to simultaneous operation of all four indexes of turns (and their control lamps on an instrument guard of the car) the Alarm system is intended for the prevention of other participants of traffic of the compelled stop of the car and is used also in other dangerous situations provided by traffic regulations.

At the switched-on alarm system indexes of turns will not function!


Switch of electroheating of back glass / external rear-view mirrors

The push-button switch of heating back glasses / rear-view mirrors is located directly under the switch of the alarm system and is equipped with the built-in control lamp (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard).

Inclusion of electroheating allows to remove from surfaces of back glass / door rear-view mirrors of condensate, hoarfrost, and even thin fly. At inclusion of an electroheater the light indicator lights up built in the switch button. Shutdown of heating is made by repeated pressing the button.

The threadlike grid of a heating element of a heater is pasted on an internal surface of back glass and demands care in the address — try not to damage a grid when wiping glass. Wiping should be made only along heater threads.

Functioning of a heater is interfaced to the raised level of power consumption therefore, in order to avoid a podsadka of the storage battery, the timer making automatic shutdown of system after 15 minutes of its continuous work is switched on in a chain of management of the device.

Do not forget to check before a start of motion quality of the review through back glass of the car.


Horn switch

As the button of a horn the decorative cover of a stupichny part of the steering wheel / module of a safety cushion acts. For activation of a sound signal it is necessary to press the central part of the button.


Switches of management of heating of forward seats

Forward seats of the car are equipped with the built-in heaters. Switches of management are located heating of seats in the lower part of the central section of the dashboard (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard) and equipped with the built-in control lamps. Activation of heating elements (TAN) of driver's and passenger seats can be made independently.

Start the engine — inclusion of heating of seats at the muffled engine leads to the fast category of the storage battery.

Having pressed the relevant party of the keyboard switch, choose a demanded mode of intensity of heating — on a key the corresponding indicator should be highlighted. Management of TAN'S functioning is carried out automatically by means of the thermostat. Do not forget to switch off heating before leaving the car.


Do not cover a seat with heatinsulating materials, such as blankets, padded stools or dense covers!
Do not put on seats firm or sharp subjects, try not to allow risk of damage of an upholstery and the heating element located under it!
Any liquid spilled on a seat immediately collect dry rags!
Do not apply to cleaning of an upholstery of seats any solvents — use soft детергентами!
In case of violation of serviceability of functioning of heating of seats address for the help in car-care center!


Switch of management of functioning of the electric drive of rear-view mirrors

Assembly of management by functioning of the electric drive of external rear-view mirrors is built in in the car dashboard, to the left of a steering column (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard).

Assemblies of management of two types are used: And and Century.

In type A assembly the choice of a mirror subject to adjustment is made by means of the push-button switch.

L — the Left mirror
R — the Right mirror


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Include ignition (the provision ON or ASS of a key).
  2. In pressing the relevant party of the push-button switch make a choice of a mirror subject to adjustment.
  3. By means of the dzhoystikovy switch make correction of provision of the chosen mirror.
  4. After completion of adjustment repeatedly press the button for a drive conclusion in neutral situation — it is necessary in order that by casual pressing the button not to break adjustment.

In type assembly In a choice of a mirror it is carried out by a povorachivaniye of the handle of the unique dzhoystikovy switch in the relevant party. Further actions are similar described above for type A system — do not forget to return the handle to neutral situation.

The electric drive of window regulators functions only at the included ignition. For a lowering / podnimaniye of glass use the corresponding individual switch (address to an illustration 14.15). Possibility of management by window regulators of all doors from a driver's place (see an illustration the Main control panel functioning of the electric drive of window regulators) is provided.

The button allowing the driver to block regulators of all passenger doors (see an illustration the Main control panel by functioning of the electric drive of window regulators) is also provided. For shutdown of blocking press the blokirator button repeatedly. For a lowering / podnimaniye of glass press / delay a key of the corresponding switch and hold her in this situation.

Possibility of machine translation of glass of a driver's door in extreme bottom situation is provided — rather quickly strongly to press the AUTO key of the control panel of a driver's door (at an otpuskaniye of slightly pressed key lowering of glass will stop). To suspend process of automatic lowering of glass delay a key up.


Management of functioning of a drive of the top hatch

The electric drive of the top hatch remains active within 45 more seconds after ignition switching off, opening within the stipulated term of any of forward doors of the car leads to shutdown of giving of a food on a drive.


The electric drive of the top hatch functions only at the included ignition. The cover of the hatch can move back, parallel to a roof surface, bend forward with lifting of its back edge.


The control panel is located functioning of the electric drive of the top hatch on the ceiling console of the car.

To shift a cover of the hatch wring out a rychazhok of the left switch of the panel back (towards the pictogram) and hold him in this situation. Closing of the hatch is made by an otzhimaniye a rychazhka to the opposite side ().

For transfer of a cover of the hatch to inclined situation at first completely close it, then wring out and hold pressed the key of the switch marked with the pictogram. Lowering of a cover is made by an otzhimaniye of the opposite side of a key.

In addition top hatch is equipped with a sun-protection shtorka. When moving a cover of the hatch the shtorka is cleaned automatically. Closing of a shtorka is made manually.

Watch, that passengers were not put out in the hatch during car movement. Before opening of the hatch clear a cover of moisture, snow, a dust and other extraneous deposits. Do not put on a cover of the hatch and a surface of a roof of the car near the hatch any heavy subjects!
At failure of the electric drive of a cover of the hatch the car should be driven away on car repair shop for performance of the corresponding regenerative repair.

Hours

Digital watch is built in in a regular audiosystem (see. Comfort). Indications of hours are displayed the display only at the included ignition (a key in the situation ON or ASS). After shutdown of an onboard food of the indication of hours are dumped and should be established anew.


Time installation

Installation of indications of the current hour is made by means of the button (N), minute — by means of the button (M).

By means of the CLOCK button on the control panel of an audiosystem the choice of a mode of functioning of the display (hours / radio tape recorder) is made.

In the CLOCK mode of the indication of the current time have an absolute priority — parameters of functioning of an audiosystem will be displayed only quickly at change of modes.

After implementation of control of the current time the display is transferred to the CLOCK mode automatically.


Sockets of onboard power supply


Two options of execution of the socket of onboard power supply

The socket of an onboard food is intended for connection of auxiliary electric equipment. The key should be turned in the situation ON or ASS.

On the car two sockets of a food — one in a back face wall of the central console, the second — in the right back corner of a luggage compartment, near a cover of a ware box are provided. Both sockets are equipped with a protective cover which should be held at not connected equipment closed (see an illustration Two options of execution of the socket of onboard power supply).


Precautionary measures

  • Tension of the onboard power supply makes 12 volts — do not connect to the socket consumers in capacity over 120 W (10 And)!
  • The socket is not intended for turning on of the lighter at it!
  • In order to avoid a discharge of the storage battery when using auxiliary electric equipment do not suppress the engine!
  • Try not to use auxiliary electric equipment at the included headlights, the air conditioner, or heating of back glass!
  • Before extraction from the socket of a plug of electroconducting without fail switch off a food of the used auxiliary electric equipment!
  • The plug of electroconducting of the connected equipment should enter into the socket against the stop, providing reliable electric contact!
  • In a usage time of a surface of the socket and a plug of electroconducting connected to it can be warmed up to high temperature and remain warmed up during even some time after shutdown!


Lighter and ashtrays


Location and rules of use of the lighter and ashtrays

Originators of the real Management do not recommend to use a lighter nest as a nest of selection of an onboard food (see above).

The lighter is located in the lower part of the central section of the dashboard (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard) and functions only at the included ignition (situation ON and ASS). For turning on of the lighter drown before click its button (see the illustration Location and rules of use of the lighter and ashtrays). After heat of a spiral the button automatically with click will return to a starting position.

In order to avoid a lighter exit out of operation, do not hold its button during spiral heating!

The forward ashtray is built in in a forward part of assembly of the central console directly under the lighter, back is located in a back part of the console, the nest of selection of an onboard food (see the illustration Location and rules of use of the lighter and ashtrays) is more right.


Coin box

The coin box is built in in the left part of the dashboard (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard) and not intended for storage of valuable subjects.


Case for storage of sunglasses

The case for storage of sunglasses is built in in assembly of the ceiling console and equipped with a latch with the press button.


Do not leave points in a case in the car parked on the open sun — as a result of heating plastic can melt!


Coasters

In the car some coasters both opened, and the closed type are provided.

Two sets of forward coasters are located in the main section of the central console — is more right than the lever of raising of the parking brake (coasters of open type) and is more left than the AT selector lever (a coaster of the closed type).


Back coasters it is equipped on the sliding panel in a back face wall of the console, ashtrays and nests of selection of a food are lower.


Using coasters of the closed type should be made only during car parking!


Ware boxes


Main ware box

The main ware box is built in in the right part of the dashboard, under the module of a passenger face-to-face safety cushion (see an illustration the Scheme of an arrangement of governing bodies on the car dashboard).

Unlocking / locking of a ware box can be made only by means of the main key. For opening of a cover of a box it is necessary to delay on itself the handle of its lock — the zashchelkivaniye of the lock is made automatically when closing cover. Box opening at the included ignition is accompanied by automatic inclusion of its illumination.


Leaky closed cover of a ware box at a road accident can become the reason of a serious travmirovaniye of the passenger sitting on a forward seat even if it will be fastened by a seat belt!


Console ware box

One more ware box, the smaller size, built in in a back part of the central console, consists of two offices, is equipped with a folding cover, intended for storage of route charts and equipped with a folding table-top and a kartoderzhatel (see an illustration the Design of a console ware box).

In a luggage compartment two ware boxes are equipped. One of boxes is located in the right lateral wall and equipped with the demountable cover fixed by two rotary clamps, in a floor of box space one more small office with the cover equipped with a press clamp (see an illustration an ensuring access Order in offices of a lateral ware box of a luggage compartment) is located. When closing covers track reliability of fastening of covers clamps.

The second box is located in a niche in a floor of a luggage compartment, under a carpet and is equipped with a cover leaning back on loops (see the illustration Equipped in a floor of a luggage compartment the ware box is equipped with a cover leaning back on loops).

For reliable fixing of transported cargo in a luggage compartment of the car some hooks are provided.

Four hooks are fixed on lateral stacks of office (under two from each party — A), two from above over lateral window leaves and four more (B) on a floor.

Hooks are intended for fastening to them cables fixing cargo and extensions and no more than 10 kgfs everyone are calculated on loading.

The mass of cargo fixed by a network should not exceed 13.6 kg!
Cargo in a luggage compartment should not take place above level of the top cut of backs of seats!


Top shtorka of a luggage compartment

Shtorka is intended for concealment of the subjects which were in a luggage compartment from an extraneous look. The taking-up drum of a shtorka is fixed behind a back of a back seat. Having pulled, unwind a shtorka and fix its corners on lateral hooks.


Do not put from above on a shtorka any subjects which can easily break during sharp braking and put a trauma to passengers sitting in salon!
Do not leave the shtorka removed from holders in a luggage compartment!
When unwinding a shtorka track reliability of fixing of its corners on hooks of a luggage compartment!


Top luggage carrier

Location of cross-section laths of a frame of the top luggage carrier can change in the longitudinal direction of rather diametrical plane (DP) of the car.

Lay luggage a luggage carrier between laths (And) a luggage carrier, adjust position of the last, then attach to them luggage by means of a cord — specially for this purpose on lateral laths of a frame adjustable loops are provided.

Try to distribute cargo transported on a roof evenly. The total weight of luggage should not exceed 45 kg. Also track, that the gross weight of a vehicle (GVWR) and axial loadings (GAWR) did not exceed admissible values according to Specifications (see information provided on a certified label on a back rack of a driver's door — see. Introduction, also see. Head Maintenance instruction).


Sun-protection peaks


Options of application of sun-protection peaks

Two harmonious sun-protection peaks are located over the upper edge of the wind flew down the car and serve for protection of eyes of the driver and the forward passenger against hit of direct sunshine. If beams fall in front, the peak should be lowered simply, having turned it on axial loops down (see an illustration Options of application of sun-protection peaks). For protection against light falling sideways, the peak should be liberated from an internal loop and to develop towards a door. In case of need at the turned peak for protection against frontally directed beams the additional guard can be lowered.


Internal rear-view mirror

The design of a drive of an internal rear-view mirror provided two regular situation: one is intended for movement during daylight hours, another — in dark. In the second situation reflecting ability of a mirror decreases that promotes weakening of blinding action of headlights moving behind vehicles. Mirror transfer from day situation in night also is back made by means of special, built in in assembly from below a rychazhka. Pressing a rychazhok forward or back, choose the demanded provision of a mirror.


Harmonious external rear-view mirrors

The design the basis of door rear-view mirrors allows to put them, densely pressing to glass of doors.


Toilet pocket mirror

The toilet pocket mirror is established in a sun-protection peak, protected by a cover and equipped with illumination (see below).


Devices of internal lighting


Ceiling lamps

On the panel of a ceiling upholstery two ceiling lamps settle down: central and illuminations of a luggage compartment.

Switches of both lamps have Polzunkovye on three fixed situation. In situation activation of lamps occurs each time when opening any of car doors.

At performance listed below conditions lamps will continue to function within 30 seconds:

  • One of forward doors of the car leans from the DU panel of the multipurpose controler or by means of a key if all doors of the car were in the locked situation;
  • When unblocking a driver's door at the ignition key taken from the lock;
  • When opening and the subsequent closing of a driver's door while other doors of the car remain closed;
  • At key extraction from the ignition lock behind closed doors the car.

Shutdown of ceiling lamps at the activated 30-second timer occurs in the following situations:

  • When locking a driver's door by any of regular ways;
  • At ignition inclusion.

Positions of ON and OFF switches correspond to constantly included and constantly switched off conditions of lamps respectively.

With a view of economy of expenses of the electric power function of automatic shutdown of all internal lamps which switches are transferred to the situation ON on the expiration of 10 minutes after ignition switching off is provided. For repeated activation of lamps it is necessary to turn a key in the situation ON.

After performance described above procedure shutdown of lamps on the 10-minute timer will occur in the following cases:

  • Opening or closing of any of doors;
  • Unlocking or locking of a driver's door;
  • Key insertion in the lock of ignition or its extraction from the lock.


Personal lamps

Two personal lamps are built in in the panel of the ceiling console of the car. Lamps are equipped with push-button switches and submit to the general scheme of functioning of the 10-minute timer of internal lighting devices (see above).


Illumination of a toilet pocket mirror

The toilet pocket mirror built in in a sun-protection peak is equipped with the individual illumination which activation occurs when opening a protective cover of a pocket mirror.

On pocket mirror illumination the scheme of functioning of the 10-minute timer of internal lighting devices (see above) also extends.


The built-in universal device of remote radio management of HomeLink®


General information

The built-in universal device of remote radio management (Transceiver) of HomeLink® allows to unite conveniently functions to three separate devices of radio management and allows to operate functioning of the majority of radio frequencies of actuation mechanisms working in a range, such as a drive of a garage door, activators of door locks and security systems.

A food of the transceiver is carried out from the onboard storage battery that excludes need for performance of periodic replacement of an element of a food, memory is organized by ROM principle that means lack of need of repeated data input after battery shutdown.

After introduction in the transceiver of a program code the original control panel (charm) should be kept on a case of emergence of need of repeated programming (for example, in case of acquisition of the new car). At car sale the program code of the transceiver should be removed from memory of the device for safety. For more details see below.

The built-in Universal HomeLink® Transceiver is not intended for use with actuation mechanisms of opening of garage doors in which function emergency останова reverse inclusions is not realized. These requirements were standardized for actuation mechanisms of release since April 1, 1982!
At input of a program code of a door of garage can spontaneously start to open or be closed — track, that in a doorway there were no people or pets!
Programming of the transceiver should be made at the muffled engine!


Programming of the Universal HomeLink® Transceiver

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. At the switched-off ignition (a key in the situation OFF) press and hold two external buttons of the control panel of the transceiver and hold them pressed until the light indicator (about 20 seconds) will start to blink — during performance of this procedure memory of the device should be cleared of the operating factory code entered into it by default.

At input in memory of the transceiver of additional data need for performance of this procedure is absent.

  1. Bring the working end of the control panel brought in memory of system of the equipment, to the transceiver on distance about 50 — 125 mm, constantly keeping an eye on the light indicator.
  2. Two hands at the same time press the button of a control panel and the chosen button transceiver control panels — hold buttons pressed until finish procedure of the following item.

Basic purpose of an onboard communicator of Infiniti is increase of level of safety of the owner of a vehicle at the expense of granting convenient options of a call of the majority of rescue services. The range of services provided by services is defined on a contractual basis.

The communicator provides possibility of using with such telecommunication systems, as System of Global Positioning (GPS), mobile telecommunication and the Communication Center of Fast Reaction of Infiniti.

The control panel of a communicator is located on the ceiling console of the car (see an illustration the Control panel of an onboard communicator of Infiniti). Two buttons deduced on the control panel allow to submit in case of need a distress signal and to activate a data exchange mode with the Communication Center of Fast Reaction of Infiniti.

Besides, the communicator provides automatic transfer to the center of fast reaction of information on operation of safety cushions and/or the anticreeping alarm system, and also allows to make remote activation of the uniform lock and tracking of the stolen car on a signal of the built-in radio beacon.

In order to avoid dispersion of attention it is not necessary to use a communicator during car movement!
For maintaining telephone negotiations during movement the Hands-Free function is provided — keep the mobile phone under in the special holder. Remember that all attention of the driver should be concentrated to management of a vehicle and tracking of a road situation!
If in the course of negotiations there is a need for conducting any records, it is necessary to park in a safe place!


Some features of the organization of functioning of a communicator

  • Giving of a distress signal and inclusion of a mode of data exchange can be carried out only at the included ignition (a key in the situation ON), or not less than 3 minutes later after its switching off.
  • The delay between pressing the button of a fast call or and the answer of the operator of the Communication Center of Fast Reaction makes about 25 seconds during which the communicator should establish connection and hand over coded information on the car.

In case of strong loading of communication lines time of a delay can increase.

  • The voice communication with Communication the Center is provided at the expense of the communicator of a microphone built in the control panel (see an illustration the Control panel of an onboard communicator of Infiniti) and a loudspeaker of the right forward door. Priority of calls of the Communication Center

If during negotiating by the mobile phone the call of any of regular calls of the Communication Center (by "Mayday", «Information» is made, or any of automatic calls, - see above), telephone conversation will be interrupted.

Told extends and on information transferred from a communicator in the Center and back — the third party has possibility of listening of a communication channel.
