4.10. Replacement of epiploons of camshafts

- Remove a gas-distributing belt and cogwheels of camshafts (see. Replacement of a belt of a drive of GRM).
- Remove a back cover of a drive of GRM.
- Remove a camshaft (see. Removal, check of a condition and installation of components of the klapanny mechanism).
- Having hooked the suitable tool, liberate an epiploon from the landing nest in a head of cylinders — try not to damage sealing walls of a nest.
- Before installation grease sponges of a new epiploon with pure impellent oil.

- Fill an epiploon in the landing nest.

- By means of a suitable opravka press it aflush with a head surface.
|
|
|
|
As an opravka the replaceable face head of the corresponding size, or a piece of a pipe of suitable diameter can be used — the opravka should rest only against a rigid face surface of an epiploon! |
- Installation of other components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle — track, that all fixture was tightened with demanded effort.
