3.16. Check / adjustment of installations of turns of an idling / corner of an advancing of ignition / quality of an air and fuel mix

Before starting performance of procedures of checks / adjustments, make sure of serviceability of a condition and functioning of the following knots:

  • Battery;
  • Components of system of ignition;
  • Impellent oil and cooling liquid (levels);
  • Safety locks;
  • Contact socket of electroconducting of ECM;
  • Vacuum hoses;
  • Inlet air path (cover of a mouth of filling of oil, measuring instrument of level of oil, etc.);
  • Regulator of pressure of fuel (pressure);
  • Piston group (compression)
  • EGR valve;
  • Butterfly valve;
  • Components of system of catching of fuel evaporations (EVAP).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On the models equipped with central air of air, switch off the conditioner.
  2. Transfer the AT selector lever to the situation "N".
  3. At check of level of the content of monooxide of carbon (WITH) enter a probe щупа into an exhaust pipe not more deeply than on 40 see.
  4. Switch off everything onboard consumers of the electric power (a headlight, the heater fan, screen wipers, heating of back glass, etc.).
  5. Bring forward wheels of the car into rectilinear situation.
  6. Start performance of checks only after a stop of the fan of system of cooling.

Step 1 — the Beginning of checks

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Visually check passableness of a filtering element of an air purifier.
  2. Check all hoses and sleeves on existence of signs of development of leaks.
  3. Check serviceability of functioning of the EGR valve.
  4. Make sure of serviceability of a condition of contact sockets of electroconducting.
  5. Estimate a condition of sealing laying.
  1. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature — the arrow of a measuring instrument of temperature on the dashboard should leave on the middle of a working range of a scale.
  1. Make sure that turns of the engine make no more than 1000 in a minute.
  2. Open a cowl and approximately for 2 minutes lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 2000 rpm (without loading).
  3. Make check of the II diagnostic mode (self-diagnostics) — at operation of a control lamp of MIL make necessary regenerative repair, or replace the failed components.


Step 2 — Check of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Approximately for 2 minutes lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 2000 rpm (without loading).
  1. 2-3 times short breakthroughs lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 4000 rpm (without loading), then dump turns to the single.
  1. Muffle the engine and disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of provision of a butterfly valve (TPS).
  1. Start the engine and 2-3 times lift its turns to 2000 — 3000 in a minute (without loading), then again dump to the single.
  2. By means of a stroboscope check correctness of installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition. Demanded value makes 15 °  ± 2 ° before VMT (in the position "N" of the lever of the AT selector) — in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see a step 3). If violations in installation of a corner of an advancing of ignition are not present, pass to performance of procedures of a step 4.


Step 3 — Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Adjustment of a corner of an advancing of ignition is made by deployment of the distributor of ignition after a preliminary otpuskaniye of bolts of its fastening.
  2. Having finished adjustment, muffle the engine and connect electroconducting to the TPS sensor.


Step 4 — Check of installation of base turns of idling


According to the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Consider the measuring instrument indication in the DATA MONITOR mode — demanded value makes 700  ± 50 rpm (the AT selector lever — in the situation "N").


According to the scheme «without CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make measurement of turns of idling — demanded value makes 700  ± 50 rpm (the AT selector lever — in the situation "N").


According to both schemes

At positive result of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 6, at negative results — a step 5.


Step 5 — Adjustment of base value of turns of idling

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. 2-3 times short breakthroughs lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 4000 rpm (without loading), then dump turns to the single.
  1. Make the corresponding correction of turns of idling by rotation of the adjusting screw.


Step 6 — Check of target turns of idling

  1. Check serviceability of functioning of the IACV-AAC valve — in case of need make replacement.
  2. Check a condition of electroconducting of the IACV-AAC valve — in case of need replace a plait.
  3. Check serviceability of functioning of ECM by substitution of obviously serviceable block.

Step 8 — Check of a signal left dokatalitichesky warmed up a lambda probe according to the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For few minutes lift frequency of rotation of the engine to 2000 rpm (without loading).
  2. Be switched in the subsection "FR O2 MNTR-B2" of the DATA MONITOR mode of a measuring instrument.

  3. Check a condition of an injector of injection and its electric chain. In case of need make injector washing.
  4. Check serviceability of functioning of ECM by substitution of obviously serviceable block.

ECM exit out of operation happens extremely seldom.

  1. Having finished check, return to performance of procedures of a step 2.


Step 12 — Check of a signal right dokatalitichesky warmed up a lambda probe according to the scheme «with CONSULT»

  2. Disconnect electroconducting from ECM.
  3. Disunite the contact socket of electroconducting a lambda probe.
  1. Check conductivity between the plug of 50 ECM and the socket a lambda probe — conductivity should take place.
  1. At positive results of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 18, at negative — a step 8 or 9 after preliminary replacement of a plait.


Step 17 — Check of a condition of electroconducting left dokatalitichesky warmed up a lambda probe

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Muffle the engine and disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Disconnect electroconducting from ECM.
  3. Disunite the contact socket of electroconducting a lambda probe.
  1. Check conductivity between the plug of 50 ECM and the socket a lambda probe — conductivity should take place.
  1. At positive results of check pass to performance of procedures of a step 18, at negative — a step 8 or 9 after preliminary replacement of a plait.


Step 18 — preparation for check of level of the contents WITH


According to the scheme «with CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Be switched in the subsection "COOLANT TEMP" of the ACTIVE TEST mode of a measuring instrument.
  1. By means of DWN and Qd switches expose COOLANT TEMP value equal 5°С.


According to the scheme «without CONSULT»

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect electroconducting from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid (ECT).
  1. Connect between plugs of the contact socket of electroconducting of the sensor the resistor resistance of 4.4 kiloohms.


Step 19 — Check of level of the contents WITH in the fulfilled gases

 PERFORMANCE ORDER
