8.2.6. Replacement of an epiploon of a rod of switching of a transfer case

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the forward driveshaft.
  2. Remove a connecting flange (see. Replacement of an epiploon of lengthening of transmission).
  1. Disconnect a control lever from the executive lever of a drive of switching, then remove the executive lever.
  1. Having hooked a suitable screw-driver, remove an epiploon of a rod of switching.
  1. Previously having greased sealing sponges with universal greasing, fill a new epiploon in a landing nest and press it by means of a cylindrical opravka as which it is possible to use a replaceable face head suitable on the size or a piece of a pipe of the corresponding diameter. The edge of an opravka should rest only against a rigid face surface of an epiploon.
  1. Further installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.
