9.20. Check of serviceability of functioning of the relay of the electromagnetic valve of the hydraulic ABS modulator

The relay of the electromotor is a part of the block of the ABS relay which at negative results of check is subject to replacement assembled. |

|
- Disconnect electroconducting from the ABS relay block (see an illustration
the arrangement Scheme on the car of the elements ABS).
- Check conductivity existence between the plug No. 21 and No. No. 3 and 16 of the block of the relay (see an illustration Check of the block of the ABS relay). If conductivity is absent in both cases, pass to the following stage of check, otherwise replace the block.
- Submit tension of the battery (12 In) between No. No. 5 and 7 plugs and repeat the previous check. This time conductivity should take place, otherwise the block is subject to replacement.
- Remove stress from the block and measure resistance between No. No. 5 and 7 plugs. The nominal rate makes 70.8 — 157.8 Ohm. The faulty block is subject to replacement.
