9.18. Check of serviceability of functioning of the G-sensor

The sensor of accelerations is among the fragile and easily damaged components, the dropped sensor is subject to replacement.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect from the sensor of accelerations electroconducting.
  2. Remove the sensor from the car and lay it on a flat surface.
  3. Measure resistance between sensor No. No. 2 and 51 plugs (see an illustration Check of the block of the ABS relay) — demanded value makes 1400 — 1600 Ohm.
  1. Incline the sensor at an angle at least 23 ° — this time resistance between No. No. 2 and 51 plugs should make 4700 — 5500 Ohm.
  2. Measure resistance between sensor No. No. 1 and 17 plugs — demanded value makes 70 — 124 Ohm.
  1. At negative results of any of checks replace the sensor.
