2.5.10. Instructions for use control system of the speed (tempostaty) At refusals темпостата (ASCD) occurs automatic shutdown of the system, a being accompanied blinking of a control lamp темпостата on an instrument guard of the car (see. Car equipment, arrangement of devices and governing bodies).
If the control lamp темпостата starts to blink, make system switching off from the main switch and drive away the car on car repair shop.
To a blinking of a control lamp can lead inclusion темпостата from the main switch at a simultaneous nazhimaniye on buttons of management of RES/ACCEL, COAST/SET or CANCEL system of the control panel on a steering wheel, activation of system should be made according to the instructions provided below.

It is not necessary to use темпостат in the following road conditions:
- When there is no movement possibility the every constant speed;
- At movement on the loaded roads;
- At movement on a serpentine;
- In hilly and mountain districts;
- At a slippery paving;
- At a strong wind.
Violation of this prevention is fraught with control loss over management!

Management of functioning темпостата
The control system of speed (темпостат) provides possibility of automatic maintenance of speed of movement of the car in a range from 48 to 144 km/h without use of a pedal of gas.
For commission of overtaking squeeze out a gas pedal. After the pedal will be released, the car will return to chosen earlier cruiser speed.
At movement under a bias or uphill темпостат does not provide maintenance of cruiser speed of movement of the car and it should be switched off.
Cancellation of the chosen cruiser speed can be made in three various ways:
- Press the CANCEL button (Cancellation) — the control lamp темпостата should go out;
- Slightly squeeze out a pedal of a foot brake — the control lamp темпостата should go out;
- Use the main switch темпостата — should go out a control lamp темпостата, and also built in a switch key a control lamp.
After squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake at at the same time pressed RES/ACCEL button on the control panel, it is necessary to disconnect темпостат the main switch and to activate it repeatedly after a set of demanded speed of movement.
Tempostat is disconnected automatically at decrease in speed of movement of the car more than on 13 km/h below the chosen cruiser value.

Switching off of a control system by speed can be made also by a way of squeezing of a pedal of coupling (model with RKPP) or movings of the lever of the selector to the situation "N" (models with AT) — the control lamp темпостата on an instrument guard should go out. |
Increase of the chosen cruiser speed of movement of the car can be made in three ways:
- Squeeze out an accelerator pedal when the car will be dispersed till demanded speed press and release the COAST/SET button on the control panel (see an illustration Management of functioning темпостата);
- Press and hold pressed the RES/ACCEL button on control panels functioning темпостата (see an illustration Management of functioning темпостата) — when the car will be dispersed till demanded speed, release the button;
- In short-term pressing the RES/ACCEL button it is possible to make step acceleration of the car with a step of 1.6 km/h.
For fall of cruiser speed:
- Slightly press a pedal of a foot brake — when speed of movement of the car will decrease to demanded value, press the COAST/SET button;
- Press the COAST/SET button and hold it pressed until the car will not be braked till demanded speed;
- In short-term pressing the COAST/SET button it is possible to make step decrease in value of cruiser speed of the car with a step of 1.6 km/h.
For return to earlier chosen cruiser speed quickly press the RES button (see an illustration Management of functioning темпостата) — as soon as the car will be dispersed over 48 km/h, темпостат will automatically finish it to chosen earlier cruiser speed of movement which will support further.

- Check correctness of adjustment of a cable of gas.
