4.12. Removal and installation of the pallet of a case

Removal

- In case of need remove airintaking sleeves both the top and bottom sections of a radiator.
- Remove protection of a case of the engine.
- Remove from the block of cylinders the steering pump assembled with the basic arm.
- To Poddomkratta the car also establish it on props (see an illustration
the Scheme of an institution of props for car fixing in the lifted situation).
- Empty cooling system (see. Head Routine maintenance).
- Merge impellent oil (see. Head Routine maintenance).
- Turn out bolts of assembly collars of a bar of the stabilizer of cross-section stability.
- Disconnect the forward driveshaft from the holder of differential.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of power shafts.
- Disconnect from the holder of forward differential a hose of removal of air jams.
- Remove a basic arm of forward differential.
- Remove a starter.
- Give nuts of an arm of fastening of transmission to a back part of the engine.
- Give nuts of fastening of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit to a car frame.
- Remove basic arms of the steering pump and a bar of the stabilizer of cross-section stability.
- Will hang out the engine from above on the winch and disconnect from final collectors reception pipes of system of production of the fulfilled gases.
- Turn out bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case of the engine. Having filled the special tool (J-37228) in a gap between the pallet and the block, and tapping on it with a hammer, cut a layer of hermetic and lower the pallet.

- Remove a maslozaborny tube with a sealing ring and finally dismantle the case pallet.

Installation

- Lay in a reception flute on a sealing surface of a flange a pillow of hermetic of round section with a diameter about 3.5 — 4.5 mm — track, that hermetic kept within from the interior of boltovy openings.
- Grease with hermetic both of an end face of epiploons in places of contact them with the case of the oil pump, the back holder and the pallet.
- Accurately press the pallet to the engine block.
- Screw fixing bolts and, operating in strictly certain order (see an illustration the Order of a tightening of bolts of fastening of the pallet of a case), in stages evenly tighten them with demanded effort.
- Installation of the remained components is made as it should be, the return to an order of their dismantle — track, that all fixture was tightened with demanded effort. Engine filling by oil make not less than 30 minutes later, necessary for hermetic hardening.
